The Old Conrad Cemetery is located in Clearcreek Township of Fairfield County 
on Bowers Road.  It is approximately 1 1/4 miles west of State Route 159. A 
second Conrad Cemetery is located just east of this site, and there is 
confusion between the two, and particularly with the names: one being referred 
to as the New Conrad Cemetery, and this as the Old Conrad Cemetery.  According 
to the Fairfield County Genealogical Society's reference The Cemeteries of 
Clearcreek Township, the Old Conrad Cemetery is in reality the "newer" of the 
two; thus the confusion in the names.  This cemetery is also referred to as 
the Upper Conrad; it is "up the hill" from the other site and on the south 
side of Bowers Road. There is field fence around the cemetery, and an open 
gate at the northwest corner.  Parking is not great for anyone wanting to 
visit.  The ditch is not wide, and you are right at a hilltop so cars 
approaching from the west are an issue.
