Turkey Run Baptist Church Cemetery is located in Amanda Township just east of 
the intersections of State Routes 674 and 188.  It is on State Route 188, off 
the south side of the highway.  Dillion Road is almost directly opposite the 
entrance.  There was a sign marking the church a few years ago, but that sign 
is not there at this time.  The cemetery is accessed by a dirt lane 
approximately 1/8 of a mile long. Some months of the year it is clearly 
visible from the highway; at others it is blocked from view by the crops. The 
lane was in good condition when I visited the cemetery in May, 2008. There is 
ample room to turn around in the old churchyard. It is maintained, but I did 
find some stones along the eastern side of the cemetery that have been 
overgrown and are in the brush. Watch out there for poison ivy. The Fairfield 
County Genealogy Society has the history of the cemetery recorded in their 
book Cemeteries of Amanda Township, Fairfield County, Ohio, 1992,  p 161.

Additional Comments:
I compared my reading of the cemetery with the recorded information of the 
Fairfield County Genealogical Society.  Many of my photographs reflect the 
damage time has done to the stones; some stones are only decipherable using 
the previous readings to piece together the inscriptions.  These stones will 
soon be lost to time without these images for recording them.
