ROBERT C. COIL Former Washington C.H. resident ROBERT C. COIL, 64, of 11850 Casa Grande Lane, Middletown, Calif. died on Thursday, April 25, 2002 at his residence. His death was sudden and unexpected. Mr. Coil was born on March 26, 1938 in Fayette County to SAM G. and CATHERINE ALTA HAPPENY COIL. He had lived the past 30 years in California. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1955 to 1959. He formerly was an air traffic controller at Cleveland Hopkins Airport and at Oakland Airport in California. He had owned and operated Eastbay Builders and later the Coil Construction Co. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, SAM J. and EDWIN L. COIL; and three sisters, RUTH SOUTHWARD, MARY CLEMANS, and JESSIE WASHBURN. Mr. Coil is survived by a son, MICHAEL COIL; and a daughter, ROBBI BLOCK, both of Santa Rosa, Calif.; two granddaughters, KENDALL and WHITNEY BLOCK; two brothers, WILLIAM RAY COIL and LARRY (MARLENE) COIL; and a sister, MILDRED REIBER, all of Washington C.H.; and several nieces and nephews.
