Obituary for Mrs. Sylvia A. Riffle - 1972

Mrs. Sylvia A. Riffle, 67, Tarlton, died 9:30 a.m. Sunday at her residence
of an apparent heart attack.
Born October 19, 1905 in Fairfield County, she was the daughter of Charles
and Elizabeth Ogle Calvert.
Survivors include her husband, Brian Riffle; seven sons, Tom, Route 1,
Ashville; Brian, Stoutsville; Fred, Route 4, Circleville; Ned, Route 3,
Circleville; Robert, Texas; Eddie, Route 5, Circleville; Ronnie, Route 1,
Kingston; eight daughters, Mrs. Harry (Esther) Lovett, Circleville; Mrs.
Orlando (Harriett) Brown, Circleville; Mrs. Russell (Ellen) Smith, Tarlton;
Mrs. Ronald (Irene) Sowers, Amanda; Mrs. Donald (Joanne) Greeno,
Circleville; Mrs. Terry (Connie) Hanley, Circleville; Mrs. Tom (Bonnie)
Forquer, Circleville; Mrs. Danny (Sherryl) Grant, Circleville; 39
grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Elta W. Calvert,
Columbus; one sister, Goldie Skidmore, Buckeye Lake; several nieces and
nephews.
The funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Defenbaugh Funeral Home
with the Rev. L. S. Metzler officiating.
	Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at noon Tuesday.
