Cox family Bible from Franklin County, Ohio


Family bible: transcribed as written by Richard Wilson. This Bible was retrieved from the home of 
Frank Wentzel, Groveport, Ohio upon his death abt. 1925 and was later retrieved from the home of 
Francis Cox, Youngstown, Ohio upon his death in 1988. I believe all the people listed to be from 
Groveport, Franklin County, Ohio area. It is now in the possession of Richard Wilson, Shelby, MS.

Emmor Cox and Elizabeth Huff entered into matrimony the 26th day of April, 1792

Wm. Ramsey and Hannah Cox entered into matrimony the 28th January, 1817

Johon Ramsey and Ann Cox entered into matrimony April the 17th 1817

John Ramsey and Mary Cox entered into His holy state of matrimony October 15th, 1826

Joseph Cox and Ann Thomson entered into the Holy state of matrimony on the 27th September, 1827

Joseph Cox was born February 14th 1802     Deceased December 1st 1837

John Cox was born January 9th 1804     Died April 28 1873

William Cox was born August 12th 1805

Lovina Cox (and) Sophia Cox was born May 18th 1807   Sophia Cox deceased November 6th 1853

Lydia Cox was born July 3rd 1809    Deceased March 22nd 1843

Betsy Cox was born November 25th 1812     Deceased September 9th 1886

Wm Ramsey (junior) was born February 18th 1819

Samuel Ramsey (junior) was born July 19th 1820     Deceased August 12th 1820

All but several entries are in the same handwriting and the ink is very faded but I believe this to be transcribed accurately.
