I found a Charles W. Blair married to a Kate Medary (7-200)
Dec 25, 1858 by G.H.Norton, Vouched by John Philips.
O.S.J. - Charles W. Blair, Clerk of Ohio Senate, and
Miss Kate Medary, daughter of Governor Samuel Medary - rest same.

This was found in two marraige reference books under Blair & also Medary.

other Medary marriages entries are for:
Elvira V. - Nov 27, 1843
Flora      -Nov 21,1854
Louise   -Sept 18,1849
Sarah A.  -Jan 20,1847
(Looks like her sisters to me.)jwc


In still another book I found write up for Samuel Medary,
b Feb 25, 1801 PA, d Nov 7, 1864 in Columbus Ohio/Franklin Co.
Early spelling of name was Madeira....He has published several newpapers.
In 1857 he accepted the Governorship of the Terr. of Minnesota,
he served for two years after which the state was admitted to the Union.
He also was the last  Terr. Governor of Kansas from 1859-60...
In Dec. 1860 he resigned and returned to Columbus...
Mr Medary was married to Miss Eliza Scott and they had twelve children...
