The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/oh/ *********************************************************************** File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by Pat Johnson busterb@info2000.net March 9, 2000 *********************************************************************** Gibeson to Goulden 27 Feb 1833 Franklin County Ohio Deed Book 12 Pages 156 & 157 FHL Film # 0285071 Joseph Gibeson to John Goulden This indenture made this 27th day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three by and between Joseph Gibeson and Mary his wife both of the County of Franklin and State of Ohio of the one part and John Goulden of the (sic)of Warren and State aforesaid witnesseth that the said Joseph Gibeson and Mary his wife for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and thirty dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge and they parties of the first part do forever acquit and discharge him the said John Goulden have given granted bargained sold and conveyed and released and do by these do give grant bargain sell release and confirm unto him the said John Goulden the said party of the second part and his heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County of Franklin and State of Ohio and is bounded as follows, beginning at a beech tree in the west boundary line of the original survey No o! f entry three thousand and twelve and at the northeast corner of John A. McDowell survey of two hundred and thirty acres running with his lines south eighty & west eighty six poles and seven links with the said McDowell line to a stake witnessed by two ashes thence north ten degrees west one hundred and two poles to a stake witnessed by two hickorys thence north eighty east eighty six poles and seven links to a small ironwood thence south ten degrees east one hundred and two poles to the beginning containing fifty five acres of land to have and to hold the above premises with all privilege and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any ____ appertaining unto him the said John Goulden his heirs and assigns forever and the said Joseph Gibeson and Mary his wife for themselves their heirs executors or administrators covenant and promise to and with the said John Goulden his heirs and assigns that they are lawfully seized of the above described premise and that they have good righ! t and full authority to sell and convey the same in a way and manner aforesaid and that the said premises are now free of and from all incumbrance, and further that they the said Joseph Gibeson and Mary his wife their heirs executors and administrators will warrant and truly defend the premises aforesaid unto the said John Goulden and his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful claim of all and every person or persons whatsoever.
