Witnesseth that the aforesaid John Gouldin and Lucilla his wife and their legal representatives of the first part do agree to quit claim and release all of their claims, right or title to Clark Frazell and heirs of W. Frazell of the following described tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the County and State aforesaid to wit: Beginning at a Beech tree at the South West corner in the Patent line and running East 110 poles and 5/10 on a North between David Thomas and Cutlers lands154 poles and 4/10 to the North West line of the said Thomas boundary and therewith Gilliams South line 80° West 111 poles and 8/10 to two Hickines and two Ash: South from Gilliams line 135 poles to the Beech tree in place of beginning. In testimony whereof, we have hereunto set our hands and seals the day and year above written. Scofield § The State of Ohio Franklin County § Personally appeared before me, a Justice of the Peace in and for Said County John Goulden and Lucilla his wife, Signers to the within deed of conveyance and by me personally known to be the persons they represent themselves to be, and severally acknowledged he signing and sealing thereof to be their act and deed for the purposes therein expressed, the said Lucilla Gouldin being Separate and apart from her husband and the contents to her made known, she acknowledged that she executed the same freely and that she is still satisfied therewith.
