Beginning in the E line of the Blackburn tract at a white ash tree, thence N 80° E 92.31 p. to a burr oak, thence N 10° W 53.44 p. to a hickory, thence S. 80° W. 92.31 p. to a stone and two small ashes, thence S. 10° E. 53.44 p. to the place of the beginning, containing thirty acres more or less, being part of the Gilliam Survey No three thousand and thirteen (3013) patented to said Gilliam by John Adams President of the United States in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and ninety eight. To have and to hold said premises with their appurtenances unto the said Lucilla Gouldin her heirs and assigns forever. And the said Henry and Eliza McCracken for themselves and heirs do covenant with said Lucilla Gouldin her heirs and assigns that she is lawfully seized of the premises aforesaid, and that the premises are found clear from all incumbrance whatsoever, and they forever warrant and defend the same with the appurtenances unto the said Lucilla Gouldin her heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever. In testimony whereof the said Henry McCracken and Eliza his wife have hereunto set their hands and seals this fifteenth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty one.
