Flick ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-FIFTH REGIMENT OHIO VOLUNTEER INFANTRY This regiment was organized at Camp Chase, on February 26, 1865, for the period of one year. Its aggregate strength was one thousand and six men, one half of whom were veterans. It left Camp Chase February 27th, en-route for Nashville, but was detained at Louisville, Kentucky. Regimental headquarters were established at Eminence, Kentucky, and the companies stationed at different points, for the purpose of guard duty. It had no opportunity of showing its fighting qualities, as the bubble burst soon after its entrance into the service. It was mustered out at Lexington, Kentucky, September 26th, and repaired to Camp Chase, where it was discharged, October 2, 1865.
