My dear loving sister i recievd your letter
about 2 weeks ago i did entent to
write to you right away but i felt so
bad then Rosa took down sick So sick
i thought shee would not live o dear
you must know how i felt Shee is
better. i am glad o dear i felt so sorry
that you was sick i thought thee time
was coming that you could not write to mee
eney more how sad i would feel all
though wee cant see each other wee
wee are sisters and love each other i
am still failing some days i feel so
bad then some days felt beter i am ill
lelt you Rosa took with cramps and
throughing up could hardly talk to
mee Then fever set in Gorge is stout
child Rosa husband is well & wee
have so much rain for 2 weeks but
plenty of vegetbles all kind not so
much fruit only aples Seems to bee
plenty i am glad Arther is better
and thee rest of thee chilldren but
you and mee cant expect to get
better o it dont make eney difernce
to mee So you and mee are redy
to there will bee no more sicknes
and saw Rosa and Ed and Mer yesterday
Took a street car ride 3 miles to thee
park o it was so nice yesterday was
thee forth of July The weeat and corn
look so nice Bear is good for us i
drink a little most every day i cant
drink but little i cant take only a
teaspoon full of wiskey o have you
got carnary birds i got Ed has got
one My bird is going on 15 years old
i raised him was a fine singer
hee cant sing eney more you spoke
about geting poor in flesh yes i am
geting poor in flesh i drink lots of
lemen aid i drank Black Berry
wine it did not help mee every well
i hope when this i ges i will close this
time i have been so long i want you
to get this letter i hope this letter gets
to you you will fell better if you are
not able to write get thee children
to write i want to here from you
so a my love to you and all my
children send there love to you
