obit "The Blade", Dec 13, 1943, page 17, col 1, Toledo, Ohio
 
Amos Snyder, 55, Walbridge, Ohio, died Saturday in his home after a long
illness.  He was born in Columbus, Ohio.  Formerly employed by the Chesapeake
and Ohio Railroad, he retired in April after 33 years service.  He was a member
of Disabled Veterans of World War I.  Surviving are his wife, Norma, son Herbert
Lee Snyder, and sister, Mrs Margarete Buroker, Columbus.  The body is in the
Worth Clegg Mortuary.  Services will be tomorrow in Grace Church, Walbridge. 
Burial will be in Lake Township Cemetery.
