He was a member of a family of 12 children, eight of whom grew to manhood and womanhood. His boyhood life was lived on the home farm on which stands the Mt. Pleasant U. B. church of which he was a member for many years. On March 16, 1902 he was united in marriage to Della Savage, and to this union were born two sons, Othel Ford and Encil Andrew. The home was saddened by the passing of the older son, Othel F. in September 1923. His home has always been in or near Delta. In his early married life he followed the trade of blacksmithing, but later he owned and operated a farm. His affliction dates back a number of years. He sought help in various directions but after long and patient suffering went home Friday evening, Nov. 3, 1933 at 11:25 o'clock, leaving to cherish his memory his wife, one son Encil A, two sisters, Mrs. Julia A. Hopkins, Jasper, Mich., and Mrs. Lelia M. Ohlinger, Delta, O., and one brother, Romeo D. Mizer of Delta. There are also a number of nieces and nephews besides many other relatives and friends. He will be remembered as a kind husband and father, and a good neighbor. He will be missed in the home, the church and the community. Earthly life is but a shadow Of the life beyond the tide, Where our loved have gone before us Let our trust in God abide. We shall meet our own beloved, Journey onward side by side, Thus with love and faith more perfect, Let our trust in God abide. -------------------------- Submitted by: Charles Paul Keller, Corpmiz@aol.com, August 30, 1999 Researching Surnames: BREITER, BITTIKOFER, BOEHM, ELLIS, FINLEY, GARDINIER, HARRINGTON, HOCHSTETLER, HORTON, KELLER, KLINK, LEININGER, MCCONNELL, MIZER, ODEN, SCHROCK, SHIBLER, SNYDER, TITLOW, WIGGINS/ The Jacob MISER Family History Page: http://hometown.aol.com/corpmiz/index.html ********OH_FOOTSTEPS Mailing List***************************
