They organized a new society under the leadership of Rev. George Reeves, who served as their regular minister for 18 years. Their present house of worship, a frame, located on the southern part of O. S. Hatch's farm, in the southern part of the township was erected in 1859. At that time there were 33 members. On account of deaths and removal from the neighborhood, the membership decreased to 17. Services are conducted by Rev. Elias M. Reeves, son of Rev. George Reeves, once each month. There is no Sabbath School connected with the church.
