Man lost his life Tuesday night near here in a grinding one-car crash which sheared his late model hardtop in half. Clark County Sheriff's deputy said that Terry David George, 23, of 1227 Eileen D Dr., was traveling alone on State Route 571, a half mile east of here at 9:36 p p.m. when he apparently lost control on a slight curve. His auto struck a large tree and was cut in half behind the driver's seat. Debris from the wreckage reportedly was scattered 100 feet in all directions and the rear part of the west-bound auto stopped just off the left side of the ro road, 85 feet from the front half, which was in a field off the right side of th the highway, 102 feet from the tree. The victim's body was found about 10 feet in front of his car. Mr. George was born in Springfield Nov 18, 1944, the son of Frank S. and Mary E. Widdig George, and resided in that area until moving to Beavercreek eight ye years ago. He graduated from Beavercreek High School in 1963 and was an em employee of Delco Products, Dayton. He attended Central Christian Church, Sp Springfield. In addition to his parents with whom he resided, he is survived by a sister, M Mrs. Mark [Connie] Powell of Dayton; a brother, Frank L. George of Beavercreek a and the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William George of Springfield. The Rev. S. Edward Johnson will conduct services Saturday at 1 p.m. at Jackson Lytle and Coffman Funeral Home, 560 E. High St., Springfield, where friends may call 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday.
