Kyle, a highly esteemed lady, who for some months past has been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Geo. F. Robinson, died on Saturday afternoon about 1 o'clock. The deceased was a daughter of Isaac and Mary mooney and was born at Mill Grove, O., March 15, 1821. She was united in marriage to the late Dr. Jos. A. Kyle on Dec. 11, 1838, the ceremony taking place in Jefferson county, Ind. To them were given ten children, four of whom are still living, namely, Mary, wife of Geo. F. Robinson, of Xenia; Joanna, wife of David C. Kyle, of Washington, Iowa; Joseph Kyle, of Ozark, Mo., and William Kyle, or Elgin, Oregon. The burial took place this afternoon. Additional Comments: Dr. Jos. A. Kyle = Dr. Joseph Addison Kyle s/o Joseph Kyle and Jane Gowdy Geo. F. Robinson = George Foglesong Robinson, author of History of Greene County, Ohio There is discrepancy regarding the birth location of Sarah. Although it is listed here as Mill Grove, O., this is in conflict with other secondary sources. More research is needed to confidently determine birth location of Sarah. Corroboration for above details from obituaries of deceased's relatives, death records, marriage records and Greene County Histories (Deeds & Robinson).
