Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Nelson of Zanesville R. D. 4 and Mr. and Mrs. Charles 
Kennedy, Kimbolton R. D. 1, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on 
March 13 at Partridge Trap School, two miles west of Kimbolton.
 
Mr. Nelson and Mrs. Kennedy are the children of the late Robert and Sara Addy 
Nelson.  Mrs. Nelson is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Jones.  Mr. 
Kennedy is the son of the late George Kennedy and Mrs. Amanda Kennedy Wells, 
who resides at 1125 Clark St.  She is 92 years old.

Irvin Nelson and Elizabeth Jones were married on March 1, 1904 in Cambridge by 
the Rev. Robert Campbell.  The have resided in the vicinity they are now living 
most of their married life.  Mr. Nelson is engaged in farming and the carpenter 
trade.  They have two sons, Lyle and Howard Nelson of Zanesville R. D. 4 and 
three grandchildren.

Charles R. Kennedy and Olive Nelson were united in marriage on March 24, 1904.  
They were married at the home of the later's grandmother, with whom she 
resided, Mrs. Esther Nelson, Bird's Run, by Rev. Mr. Bowers of Kimbolton.  They 
have resided in the community of which they are now living since their 
marriage.  Mr. Kennedy has always engaged in farming.

They have five children, Mrs. Bert Chambers of Kimbolton, Mrs. Max Dawson of 
Newark, Mrs. Hazel Boyle of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Robert Wearsch of Guernsey , 
and a son, George Kennedy of Kimbolton.  Eleven grandchildren and four 
greatgrandchildren complete the family circle.

A basket dinner will be served at the school and open house will be held from 2 
to 4 in the afternoon.  In the evening, open house will be held at the home of 
Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy from 6 to 9.
