Addy, aged 83, widow of Preston Addy, died at her home, 623 North Eleventh street at 10 o'clock, Friday morning after an illness lasting five weeks. She was the daughter of Abner and Louisa Howell and was born in Knox Township, Oct. 20, 1851. Mrs. Addy had resided in this city for many years. She was a devout member of the Flat Ridge M. E. Church and was active in it affairs when her health permitted. She is survived by two sons, James and Marshall Addy, both of Birds Run; four daughters, Mrs. Campbell Warden, Mrs. Robert Atkinson, and Mrs. Raymond Roahrig, all of Cambridge, and Miss Amanda Addy of the home; twenty grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Preston Howell of Gnadenhutten, Edward of West Lafayette, Frank of Cambridge R. D. 1 and William of Cambridge and five sisters, Mrs. Mary Addy of Van Meter, Ia., Mrs. Hariett Guthrie of Evansport, O., Mrs. Sarah Dyer of Birds Run, Mrs. James Oliver of Norwich, and Mrs. Amanda Kennedy, of Cambridge, one daughter, Mrs. Edna Worthington, and two sisters and one brother are deceased. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 o'clock at the First M. E. Church with the Rev. H. W. Courtney, pastor in charge. Interment will be made at Northwood Cemetery. The body will remain at McMillan and Scott funeral home until Saturday morning when it will be taken to the Addy home on North Eleventh Street.
