D. 2 died Tuesday night at 9:35 o'clock at Swan hospital as a result of injuries sustained the night of Nov. 6, when he was struck by an automobile as he walked along the National highway near the crest of Westview hill. A fractured skull was believed to have been the causer of death. Bichard was unconscious when admitted to the hospital and remained in a coma for several days. Last week the victim rallied and appeared to be improving but soon lapsed again into unconsciousnss. His condition gradually grew weaker until death arrived. Bichard was walking to his home at the time of the accident and said to have been waling in the center of the road. The machine which struck him was traveling east on Route 40 and was allegedly driven by William Fenimore of Cincinnati. The accident was investigated by the state highway patrol and the driver was not held. Mr. Bichard was a life long resident of Cambridge, the son of Peter and Kate Bichard. Surviving are nine sons, John, James, Clarence, Edward, Howard, Ray, William, Elmer and Theodore Bichard, all of Cambriddge; three daughters, Mrs. Rosa Colvin, Mrs. Eda Todd, and Mrs. Edith Long of Cambridge; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Turnbaugh and Mrs. Lillie Black of Cambridge and three brothers, Charles, Frank and Jonah Bichard of Cambridge. Two daughters, Anna and Hazel are deceased. His widow, Mrs. Mary Viola Watt-Bichard also survives. Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home and interment will be made in Northwood cemetery. The body was removed to the McMillen-Scott funeral home, South Tenth street and was taken to the home, Wednesday.
