Family research as of 2012
Samuel Edward Carothers was born on January 17, 1874 at Bird's Run, Liberty, 
Guernsey, Ohio to Eliza Ann Keowan and Samuel Edward Carothers, the last of 
eight children. His older siblings were: Margaret Elizabeth, William John, 
Martha Ann, Benjamin Robert, Matthew Douglas, Mary Josephine and George Turney.

Samuel never married and had no children. Samuel Edward and George Turney 
(brothers) lived on the farm their mother owned, all lived there together.

Found Samuel Carothers in the 1880, 1900, 1910, 1920, 1930 censuses at Liberty, 
Guernsey, Ohio: 
1880: Samuel Carothers 51, Elisabeth A. Carothers 41, Benjamin R. Carothers 15, 
Mathew D. Carothers 13, Mary J. Carothers 13, George F. Carothers 9, Samuel E. 
Carothers 7. 

1900: Samuel Corothers 74, Eliza Corothers 61, George T Corothers 29, Samuel E 
Corothers 26. 

1910: Eliza A Carothers 71, George T Carothers 39, Samuel E Carothers 35, Ettie 
J Carothers 26, Samuel E Carothers Jr 3, Leonard R Carothers 1 10/12[1]. 

1930: Turney G Carrothers 58, Etta Carrothers 46, Sam E Carrothers 23, Leonard 
P Carrothers 21, Glen W Carrothers 13, Edward S Carrothers 56. 

Samuel Edward Carothers died on April 5, 1963 at Kimbolton, Guernsey, Ohio. He 
is buried at the Kimbolton Cemetery.

Censuses transcribed as found, obvious spelling errors were not corrected.
