FUNERAL SERVICES TO BE HELD MONDAY FOR MRS. FRANCES CHALFANT

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Dale Chalfant, 54, Killbuck, Route 1, who 
died Thursday at 11:50 p.m. in St. Frncis hospital, Columbus will be held at 
10:30 a.m. Monday in trinity Methodist Church, Byesville of which she was a 
member.  She also was affiliated with the seventh degree grange near  Spring 
Mountain.

She had been ill four months, having been stricken while visiting her 
daughter, Mrs. Bessie Squibb.

Mrs. Chalfant was born in Muskingum county, a daughter of Stewart and Martha 
Bowman Oliver.  Surviving are her husband, Ellsworth Chalfant; two daughters, 
Mrs. Martha Mitchell and Mrs. Squibb, Cambridge, two son,s Elmer, Houston and 
Ellis, Coshocton and 11 grandchildren.  One son is deceased.

The body was taken to the Scott funeral home in Cambridge and later removed to 
the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mitchell.

Rev. Chapman of Warsaw and Rev. Clair Gray, Byesville will officiate at the 
services .  Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
