RITES TODAY FOR MRS DYER, 92

Cambridge, ).--Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Jane Dyer, 92, lifelong 
resident of knox township, will be held at the Mt. Herman church Thursday 
afternoon at 2;30 o'clock.  Rev. Mark Roy of New Concord will officiate and 
burial will be made in the church cemetery by the Bundy funeral directors.

Mrs. Dyer died Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at the home of her son, Charles 
E. Dyer of Birds Run Route 1.  Her husband, James Dyer, died in March 1921.

Surviving are four sons, William H. and Elmer, both of Cambridge Rt. 1; David 
C. Dyer, clerk at the Cambridge post office and Charles E. of the home; three 
brothers, Frank Howell of Cambridge Rt. 1; William Howell of this city and 
Edward Howell of West Lafayette; one sister, Mrs. Amanda Kennedy Wells of 
Cambridge, widow of the late Theodore Wells, last surviving Civil War veteran 
of this county.  six sisters preceded her in death.
