The Cambridge Jeffersonian March 24, 1921
James Dyer, aged 74 years, a well known and highly respected citizen of Knox 
township, died Wednesday March 23, at the family home, one mile northwest of 
Hopewell.  Mr. Dyer had been in poor helath for several months.  He is 
survived by his widow and four sons, Wm. H., Elmer H., David C. and Charles 
E.  The deceased was a lifelong member of the Mt. Hermon United Presbyterian 
church.  The funeral services will be held at the home Friday at 10 o'clock, 
followed by short services in the Mt. Hermon United Presbyterian church, 
conducted by Rev. Ross of Kimbolton.
