GUERNSEY COUNTY WOMEN STRICKEN

A short illness from complications claimed the life of Mrs. Emma Eckelberry, 71,
at 8 a.m. Tuesday at her home in Knox township, Guernsey county, three miles
south of Plainfield.

Emma Law was born in Knox township, Feb. 4, 1866, the daughter of Alexander and
Martha Law.

She is survived by her husband, Arch Eckelberry; three daughters, Mrs. Lawrence
Clemens, Mrs. Della Cornelius and Mrs. Bessie Miskimen, all of Birds Run; three
sons, William E. Eckelberry, Cambridge, Brodie of New Cumberland and Homer of
the home; 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the home.  Burial will be in
Plainfield cemetery.
