The Coshocton Tribune March 10, 1962
Mrs. Mary Jane (Madie) Forney, 87, died Saturday morning at the home of a son, 
George, Guernsey Route 2.

Born Sept. 27, 1874, at Post Boy in Guernsey county, she was a daughter of 
Thomas and Alveria Wilson McDonnell.  On Sept. 21, 1897, she was married to 
John L Forney, who died in April 1937.

Surviving in addition to the son, are two daughters, Mrs. Earl Ludlow and Mrs. 
Joyce Warden, Kimbolton; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  She 
was a member of the Birds Run Baptist church.

Services at the Scott funeral home, Cambridge, will be conducted Tuesday at 
1:30 p.m. by Rev. Russell Koffman and Rev. Raymond Lyons.  Burial will be in 
West Lafayette cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, from 3 to 5 and 
7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
