Born Feb. 19, 1908, in Guernsey Co., she was the daughter of the late William P. and Jennie (Wishart) Kennedy. She was employed by the Coshocton Co. Memorial Hospital for 20 years until her retirement in 1976. She was a member for 50 years at the First Baptist Church of West Lafayette, and a member of the 55-plus class of the church. She was married to Charles Moore, who died April 18, 1973, and she later married Gordon Wearsch, who also preceded her in death on July 11, 1977. Survivors include three sone, William Moore of WEst Lafayette, Clyde Moore of Port Washington, and Robert Moore of Barnhill; three daughters, June Markley and Margene Miller both of WEst Lafayette, and Mary Shearrow of New Philadelphia; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one niece, and two nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, one sister, one nephew, and two grandsons. Services are at 11 am Wednesday at the Given Dawson Funeral Home in West Lafayette, with the Rev. Kregg Burris and the Rev. James Puz officiating. Burial will be in the Fairfield Cemetery. Calling hours are 6 pm to 9 pm, Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Coshocton Co., or the First Baptist Church of West Lafayette.
