The Daily Jeffersonian April 19, 1976
Russell W. Kennedy, 85, Lore City R. D. 1, died at 7:30 a.m. today (April 19, 
1976) at Guernsey Memorial Hospital.

He was born May 13, 1890 in Knox Twp., the son of the late George and Amanda 
Howell Kennedy, and was a retired carpenter.

Mr. Kennedy leaves two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Baird, Coshocton, and Mrs. 
Irene Taylor, Cambridge; four grandchildren, three greatgrandchildren; and 
several nieces and nephews.

His wife, the former Helen Bean, died March 6, 1956.  Two daughters, three 
brothers, and three sisters are also deceased.

Friends may call at Thorn Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. John 
Sutton officiating.  Burial will be in Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
