Mrs. Mary (Bessie) MacDonald, 87, of Evergreen Village, Apt. 52, New Concord, 
died Sunday at 11:50 p.m. at Good Samaritan Medical Center, Zanesville.  She 
was taken there Sunday morning after suffering a massive stroke.

She was born Feb. 14, 1892, in Guernsey County, daughter of John and MArtha 
Forsythe Kennedy.  She was a member of the Vollege Drive  United Presbyterian 
Church, the Women's Society and the Evergreen Club of New Concord.

Her husband, J. Clark MacDonald, died Dec. 9, 1971.

Mrs. MacDonald leaves two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Isabel) Hecker of Columbus 
and Mrs. Robert (Mary) Russell of New Concord R. D. 3; three sons, David Elmer 
of Circleville, Robert LeRoy of Cleveland and W. Edgar of Monroe; 14 
grandchildren and 19 greatgrandchildren.

Friends may call Mock-Miller Funeral Home, New Concord, Wednesday from 2 to 4 
and 7 to 9 p.m.  Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at College Drive United 
Presbyterian Church with Dr. Caroll A Wood officiating.  Burial will be in New 
Concord Cemetery.
