HAMILTON, 73, SATURDAY A.M. A heart attack caused by hardening of the arteries resulted in the sudden deth of John Alexander Hamilton, 73-year old Coshocton county farmer of the Birds Run vicinity at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Mr. Hamilton had walked a short distance to the home of a neighbor, when he was suddenly stricken and died immediately. Born April 24, 1863, at Flat Ridge, Mr. Hamilton was a son of the late James and Elizabeth Hamilton. He lived at Flat Ridge until 13 years ago, when he moved to his present home. He was married June 18, 1884 to Ella C. Riney, who survives. Thirteen children were born to the union. 10 of whom survive. Two died in infancy and a son, Clyde died in 1918. Surviving children are: Ira of Coshocton, Clarence L. of Prophets Twon, Ill., Frank of Kimbolton, Cletus R. of Norwich, Mrs. Lulu Weingarth of West Lafayette, Mrs. Ida M. Warden of Birds Run, Mrs. Susna B. Oliver of Norwich, Mrs. Mary Gaskill of Cambridge, Mrs. Hattie E. Oliver of Sonora and Laura of the home. Mr. Hamilton also leaves one sister, Mrs. George Wilson of Birds Run and a brother, William of Columbus. Twenty-four grandchildren an five great- grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the home in charge of Rev. Olyn Hull, pastor of the West Lafayette M. P. church. Interment will be in the Birds Run cemetery.
