Hawkins, 77, of Kimbolton, died 9:35 a.m. Thursday (Sept. 6, 1984) at Good Samaritan Medical Center, Zanesville, where he had been hospitalized four weeks. He was born June 5, 1907, in Guernsey County, son of Delmar and Amanda Johnson Hawkins. Mr. Hawkins was a retired farmer and school bus driver. He was a member of Mount Herman Prebyterian Church. In addition to his wife, Hazel Worthing Hawkins, he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Russell (Marie) Kennedy of Byesville and Mrs. Charles (Betty) Hashman of Kimbolton; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. On great-grandchild is deceased. Friends may call Sunday afternoon and evening at Bundy-Law Funeral Home, where services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday with Dr. James Rila officiating. Burial will be in Mount Herman Cemetery.
