He was born Nov. 4, 1926, to Marie and Orville Ingram in Cambridge. Mr. Ingram is best remembered for his steadfast patriotism and love of his country. He served in World War II and Korea with the U. S. Marine Corps. After a break in service, he enlisted with the U. S. Army in 1961. He served two tours in Vietnam and he retired as a sergeant major in 1978, after 29 years of honorable service to his country. His military decorations include the Silver Star, Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He had been a winter resident of Vero Beach for many years, spending the rest of the year in Haitz, Germany. his is survives by his wonderful wife, Helene "Leni;" three daughters, Carol, Kristine and Karen; granddaughter, Danielle; grandson, Logan; and his sister, Pauline. He is also missed by Leni's family and friends in Germany. Paul was a mason, a Shriner, and a lifetime member of the VFW Post 2901 and the DAV. He loved fishing, talk radio and cooking-pumpkin pies being his specialty. Arrangements are under the direction of the Thomas. S. Lowther Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
