He had 2 siblings, Murrel Raymond (1894-1978) and Alice May (1899-1973). Family found in the 1910 census living at Wheeling, Guernsey, Ohio: John Wesley Ingram 50, Ella Atkinson Ingram 40, Murrell Raymond Ingram 16, Alice Ingram 11, Orville Victor Ingram 8. Orville enlisted in the Army on October 14, 1918 and was released July 30, 1921. He married Marie Bertha Gibson on November 17, 1921 at Guernsey, Ohio. The couple had 2 children: Pauline (b November 21, 1922 Cambridge, Ohio, d January 8, 2012 same) and Paul Thomas (b November 4, 1926 Cambridge, d June 21, 2009 Vero Beach, Indian River, Florida). Found in the 1930, 1940 censuses living at Cambridge, Guernsey, Ohio: 1930: Orville V Ingram 27, Marie Ingram 27, Pauline Ingram 7, Paul T Ingram 3 yrs 4 mos. 1940: Orville Ingram 37, Marie Ingram 37, Pauline Ingram 17, Paul Ingram 13. Orville died March 31, 1978 at Chillicothe, Ross, Ohio and was buried at the Guernsey Memorial Gardens, Guernsey, Ohio. Obituary: Orville Victor Ingram, 75, of Salesville, died at 9:10 a.m. Friday, (March 31, 1978) at Chillicothe Veterans Administration Hospital following a long illness. He was born May 13, 1902, at Birds Run, the son of John and Ella Atkinson Ingram. He formerly operated the Fairdale Truck Stop and was the owner and operator of the Corner Drup Store. He was a veteran of World War I. Mr. Ingram was a member of First Baptist Church, Cambridge Lodge 66, F. & A.M., and the Golden Sixties Club. He married the former Marie B. Gibson on Nov. 17, 1921, and she died Dec. 3, 1972. He leaves a son, Sgt. Maj. Paul T. Ingram, Carson City, Nev.; a daughter, Mrs. Ben (Pat) Kahrig of Salesville; a brother, Murrell Ingram of Akron and five grandchildren. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Reginald Martin and Evan. Abe Miller officiating. Burial will be in Guernsey Memory Gardens.
