Richard Ingram was born December 7, 1856 at Cambridge, Guernsey, Ohio to John 
Ingram (b 1818 Wales,d before 1880 Missouri) and Ruth Scott (b 1833 Ohio), the 
first of their four children. Richard had 3 younger siblings: John (b abt 1858 
Ohio), Jane (b abt 1860 Ohio) and Edward (b January 27, 1867 Marion, Missouri, 
d November 4, 1945 Tina, Carroll, Iowa). 



Family found in the July 15, 1860 census living at Wheeling, Guernsey, Ohio; 
Post office, Kimbolton: John Ingram (born 1818 Wales) working as a day 
laborer;  wife, Ruth 25 (b 1835 Ohio); Richard (or Richland) age 3, (b 1857 
Ohio); John age 1,(b 1859 Ohio) and Jane 6 months (b 1860 Ohio). 



Found in the 1870 census at Liberty, Marion, Missouri,(family # 111): John 
Ingram 52, born 1818 Wales; Ruth Ingram 38, b abt 1832 Ohio; Richard Ingram 15, 
b abt 1855 Ohio; John 13, b abt 1857 Ohio; Jane 11, b abt 1859 Ohio; Edward 4, 
b 1866 Missouri. 



Richard married Wallie (Walla) J Bottom (born February 9, 1874 Missouri, d  
April 27, 1961 Los Angeles, California) at probably Linn, Missouri. 



Found in the 1910 census living at Brookfield, Linn, Missouri: Richard Ingram 
52, Wallie J Ingram 36. Richard was a fireman. 



He died March 11, 1918 at Brookfield, Linn, Missouri and was buried at the Rose 
Hill Cemetery, Brookfield, Linn, Missouri.
