Gary L. Kafury, 65, of Cambridge, passed away on Sunday (Dec. 28, 2008) at his
home.

He was born on Oct. 19, 1943, in Akron, son of Pauline (Ingram) Kafury Kahrig
and the late Raymond Kafury.

Mr. Kafury was a retired postal employee, having worked at the Byesville Post
Office for many years.

He was a life member of the NRA and Cambridge VFW Post 2901.

He was a U. S. Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam Era.

He is survived by his wife, Marcia M. (Medvetz) Kafury of the home, whom he
married July 20, 1968; his mother, Pauline (Ingram) Kafury Kahrig of Cambridge;
a stepbrother, Richar Chippi of Michigan; six nephews; a niece; and 13
great-nieces and great-nephews.

No calling hours or service will be held.

Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, is handling arrangements.
