She was born Nov. 21, 1922 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Orville and Marie (Gibson) Ingram. Mrs. Kahrig worked for many years at RCA and NCR. She was a 60-year member of St. John's Episcopal Church of Cambridge. She was a life member of Beta Sigma Phi, member of the Farm Bureau, Guernsey County Senior Citizens Center, and Ladies Eagles Aerie 386 Auxiliary. She was a life member of the Ladies VFW Post 2901. Mrs. Kahrig was a volunteer at Southeastern Med and voluntered in the 1950 for the bloodmobile. She was a member of the Birthday Club for 15 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her sons, Raymond M. Kafury; her second husband, Ben F. Kahrig; a son, Gary Kafury; and a brother, Paul T. Ingram. She is survived by Gary's widow, Marci Kafury of Cambridge; a son, Tom (Becky) Kafury of Cambridge; two grandchildren,Cody Kafury and Whitney (James) Neff; two great-grandsons, Trent Kafury and Parker Neff; four stepchildren, Bill (Helen) Kahrig, Don (Darla) KAhrig, JAn Kahrig and Judy (Dennis) Starr; nine stepgrandchildren; and several cousins, nieces, nephews and many special friends. No calling hours will be observed. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20 in Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
