The Evening Independent Feb. 1, 1952 
The funeral of Samuel Kennedy, 83, of near Kimbolton was held Tuesday at 1:30 
p.m. in the McCracken Funeral Parlors, Cambridge.  The Rev. Mark Roy 
officiated.  Interment was made in the parish cemetery of the Mt. Herman United 
Presbyterian Church of which he was a member.

Mr. Kennedy, a retired farmer, died last Saturday afternoon in the Hesitt 
Nursing Home in Cambridge.

He is survived by two sons, Frank Kennedy of Cambridge and Merle Kennedy of 
this city (Massillon); a daughter, Mrs. Elma Martin of this city (Massillon) 
and four grandchilren.




Additional Comments:
Samuel was the son of James and Catherine DeHart Kennedy.
