The Cambridge Jeffersonian December 16, 1966
Francis Harvey Lawyer, 89, of 274 13th Ave., Columbus, formerly of Cambridge, 
died 8 a.m. Wednesday at Riverside Methodist Hospital after a lenghty illness.

A retired salesman, he was born in Guernsey County, May 18, 1877, the son of 
William and Elizabeth Patterson Lawyer.

Mr. Lawyer leaves his wife, Grace; two daughters, Mrs. Richard Reppert of 
Cincinnati and Mrs. Joseph Wharton of Newark; three sisters, Mrs. Harriett 
LePage of Bucyrus, Mrs. Mary Lowery and Mrs. William Danley , both of 
Cambridge; thre grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was a former member of First Methodist Church and helped write one of the 
first Ohio History books nearly 60 years ago.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 
Columbus.

The body will be brought to Scott Funeral Home where friends may call from 11 
a.m. Friday until 2 p.m. when services will be conducted by the Rev. Kenneth 
Evans.  Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery.
