The Coshocton Tribune June 7, 1937
Seth Marlatt, 89, of Hopewell, father of Mrs. J. A. Taylor of Newcmerstown, 
died at 3 p.m. Saturday of complications.



He was born Sept. 23, 1848 in Guernsey County, a son of Jacob and Eliza 
Marlatt.  He was married to Margaret Blair in 1872.  He was a member of the 
Hopewell M. E. church.



Besides Mrs. Taylor, four daughters and 29 grandchildren and 15 great-
grandchildren survive.



Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Mt. Hermon church.  Burial 
will be in the church cemetery.
