Thomas J. McDonnell, aged 84, of Mulvane st., died at the home of his 
daughter, Mrs. James Haver, five miles north of Newcomerstown, this morning at 
4 o'clock from infirmities of age.  He had been in poor health for the past 
several years.

He was born January 7, 1845 in the vicinity of Newcomerstown and his parents 
were the late John and Mary McDonnell.  He was a retired farmer at the time of 
his death.

He formerly lived on a farm near Post Boy.

Two daughters, Mrs. Haver and Mrs. J. L. Forney of Birds Run and two sons, 
Frank of Newcomerstown and Howard of Detroit, Mich., a sister, also lives in 
Wasington and two brothers, James and Daniel both of near Newcomerstown 
survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Pleasant 
View Baptist church in charge of Rev. A. K. McCall of Columbus.  Burial will 
be made in the church cemetery.
