The Zanesville Times Recorder August 9, 1977
John W. Neilley, 79, of Cambridge Rrt. 7, died at 4 p.m. Monday at Bethesda
Hospital where he had been a patient for four weeks.

Born June 1, 1898, in Guernsey County, Mr. Neilley had been a prominent farmer
for several years in the Cambridge area.  He was a member of First United
Presbyterian Church at Cambridge and the church's Sunday school class No. 16,
Indian Camp Grange No. 1424 and Guernsey Pomona Grange No. 91.

Surviving are his widow, Mabel Dyer Neilley; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Jean)
Nevel of Columbus; a son, Blaine G. Neilley of Cambridge Rt. 5 and four
grandchildren.

Private funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bundy Funeral
Home at Cambridge.

Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery.  Friends may call fr9om 3-9 today at the
funeral home.
