HARRIETT NELSON, NATIVE OF BIRDS RUN DIES AT CAMBRIDGE Mrs. Harriett B. Nelson, 76, native of Birds Run, died Thursday at 4:45 p.m. at Swan hospital, Cambridge, where she had been patient for the past two weeks, after suffering a fractured hip in a fall at her home, 431 North Eight st., Cambridge. She was a member of the Methodist church at Hopewell. She was born June 1, 1868, at Birds Run, the daughter of Preston and Susan Cunningham Wilson. She was married to Samuel B. Nelson, who died 30 years ago. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Russell Little, Fresno, Mrs. Reva Nowell, Mrs. Harry Davis and Mrs. Genevieve Sarchet, all of Cambridge; one son, John Nelson, Denver, Colo; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Gibson; and one brother, John Wilson, both of Cambridge; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Two sons are deceased. Services will be held Monday at 1:30 at the home of the daughter, Mrs. Nowell, 509 Madison av., Cambridge with Rev. Lyons of Birmingham in charge. Burial will be in Mt. Herman cemetery near Hopewell. Friends are requested to omit flowers.
