The Zanesville Signal March 3, 1953
Mrs. Susie B. Oliver, 66, of near Norwich, wife of John Oliver, died at 4
o'clock this morning at her home, following a heart attack suffered a short time
before.

She was the daughter of John and Ella Hamilton and was a native of Guernsey
county.  On April 15, 1903, she was married to John Oliver.

Mrs. Oliver was a member of the Norwich Methodist church and the Norwich grange.
 She had lived in the Norwich community for 48 years.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Millard B. Oliver of 1958
Chandlersville road; a daughter, Mrs. Leo Moore of 835 Caldwell street; her
mother, Mrs. Ella Hamilton of West Lafayette; four brothers, Frank Hamilton of
Kimbolton, Ira of Coshocton, Cletus of Fresno and Clarence Hamilton of Illinois;
five sisters, MRs. Ida Warden of Karl Drive, Mrs. Mary Gaskill of Cambridge,
Mrs. Hattie Oliver of Sonora, Mrs. Lulu Weingarth of West Lafayette and Miss
Laura Hamilton of West Lafayette; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the Norwich
Methodist church with Rev. George Willyard officiating.  Burial will be in the
New Hope cemetery.

The body is at the Mock funeral home in New Concord and will be returned to the
residence Wednesday morning.
