The Zanesville Signal March 21, 1952
J. Edward Oliver, 60, of New Concord died this morning at the Muskingum county
hospital of Newark road following a lingering illness.

A native of Guernsey county, he was a laborer and was a member of the Norwich
Methodist church.

Surviving are four brothers, Willis Oliver and Charles Oliver, both of Sonora;
Wesley of Adamsville and John of Norwich; four sisters, Mrs. Anna Orndorff of
Zanesville Route 4, Mrs. Blanche McLean of Zanesville Route 5; Mrs. Lorena
Darner of Duncan Falls and Mrs. Marie Curtis of Parkersburg, W. Va.

The body was removed to the Mock funeral home at New Concord.
