DEATH SUMMONS MRS. OLIVER, 73

Cambridge, O.-Mrs. Martha Bowman Oliver, 73, wife of Stewart Oliver, passed 
away Wednesday afternoon at 4:25 o'clock at the family home, 422 Gomber avenue 
following an illness of two years.

Born Jan. 7, 1870, near Norwich, A daughter of Richard and MAry Ann Shamblin 
Bowman, she was united in marriage on Dec. 4, 1889 to Sanford Stewart Oliver 
who survives.  She was a member of Bethel Methodist Church.

Besides her husband, she leaves the following children:  Mrs. Leafy Hashman of 
Byesville; Mrs. Dale Chalfant of Killbuck, O.; Mrs. Hazel Smith of Pickway, 
O.; Mrs. Emma McCleary of Birmingham, O.; Roy and Paul Oliver, both of this 
city; one brother, Clovis Bowman of New Concord; three sisters, Miss Frances 
Bowman of the home; Mrs. Carrie Sprague and Mrs. George Garner, both of 
Norwich, in addition to 21 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  One 
son, one daughter, one brother and sister are deceased.

The body was remoed to the Stevens and McCracken funeral home, South Eighth 
street, pending funeral services which are incomplete.
