Rev. Herbert Durham will officiate and burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Byesville. Mr. Oliver was a retired farmer and an Army veteran of World War I. He was a member of Chalfants Chapel Church. Born in Indian Camp, Ohio, Oct. 22, 1896, he was a son of Stewart and Martha Bowman Oliver. Surviving are his widow, the former Margaret Ellen Bennett; three daughters, Mrs. John (Rebecca) Evans of Lowell; Mrs. John (Naomi) Allbritton of Salem and Mrs. Gary (Kathryn) Frizzell of England; one son, Richard Ray Oliver of Route 4; three sisters, Mrs. Leafy Mae Hashman of Kent; Mrs. Hazel Smith of Cambride and Mrs. Clyde (Emma) McCleary of Kimbolton; one brother, Paul of Kent; 20 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. One son, one daughter, two sisters and one brother are deceased. Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
