The Zanesville Times Recorder December 28, 1969
Mrs. Anna I. Orndorff, 87, of Norwich, died at 9:05 a.m. Saturday (Dec. 27) at
Bethesda Hospital after an illness of six weeks.

Mrs. Orndorff was born in Guernsey County, Dec. 21, 1882, a daughter of James
and Louisa Howell Oliver.  She spent most of her life in Muskingum County and
was married to Christy S. Orndorff, Aug. 22, 1906.  She was a member of the
Salem United Methodist Church near Sonora.

Surviving are her husband; five sons, Louis of 1741 Chandlersville road, Grant
of East Fultonham, John of Clyde, O., Verne of Winchester, Ky. and Maurice of
Sandusky; two brothers, Willis Oliver of Hanover and Charles Oliver of the
Adamsville road; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Curtis of Parkersburg, W. Va. and Mrs.
Blanche Butler of Crooksville; 12 grandchildren and 19 greatgrandchildren.  A
son, Wayne and a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Ross are deceased.


The body was taken to the Shirer and Son Funeral Home at Adamsville where
friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Monday.
