Leonard R. Sherrard

Leonard Russell Sherrard, 72, of 1033 Gomber Ave., died 2:21 p.m. Tuesday 
(July 23, 1985) at Coshocton Memorial Hospital.
He was born Aug. 6, 1912 in Cambridge, son of Frank M. and Mary Belle Gadd 
Sherrard.
Mr. Sherrard was a retired employee from Canton Allied Enerprizes.  He was a 
member of teamsters local 92 of Canton; VFW 2901 and Eagles 386.  He was a 
veterean of World War II.
He leaves a brother, Wilmer of Cambridge; three sisters, Isabelle Armstrong 
and Jennie Jackson, both of Cambridge and Ella Mathews of Newcomerstown; a 
good friend Ruth Burton, with whom he made his home; and several nieces and 
nephews.
Two brothers and a sister are deceased.
Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Scott-Atkinson Funeral 
Home, where services will be 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. David Frees 
officiating.  Burial will be in Northwood Cemetary.
