Richard Jones will officiate Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the Scott Funeral Home at services for Mrs. Alice May Sherrard, 85, of 213 N. 18th St., who died Sunday at 6:40 a.m. in Guernsey Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Sherrard who had been ill for some time, was the widow of Harvy D. Sherrard who died Feb. 3, 1934. She was a daughter of John and Anna Ford Robinson and was born in Guernsey County September 8, 1880. A member of the First United Presbyterian Church and Class 15 of the Sunday School, she retired two years ago after having been employed for 13 years at the Guernsey County Children's Home. She leaves five sisters, Mrs. Lana King with whom she resided, Mrs. Lillie Bumpus of Longview, Texas, Mrs. Agnes Wilson and Mrs. Della Lyne, both of Cambridge, and Mrs. Mildred Ripley of Martins Ferry; two brothers, Arthur Robinson of Cambridge and John Robinson of Newark, and a half-brother, Edward F. Ball of Cambridge. Two additional sisters are deceased. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m., and burial will be in Northwood Cemetary.
