Sherrard Harvey D. Sherrard, aged 58, for 30 years employed as a blacksmith at the Cambridge works of the American Sheet & Tin Plate Co., died at 5:30 o'clock Saturday morning, at his home 423 Steubenville Avenue, after being ill of pneumonia for a few days, which developed after he was stricken by influenza. He was a member of the First U.F. church, and was a devout Christian. Mr. Sherrard had many friends and was highly respected in this community. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Alice Sherrard; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Hanna of Cambridge; two brothers, Frank Sherrard of Cambridge R.D. 5, and Allen of near Byesville; also several nieces and nephews. Mr. Sherrard was born in Cambridge Township, March 29,1876, the son of Samuel and Elizabeth Kimble Sherrard, both deceased. Funeral services will be conducted at the home Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock, with Rev. Charles F. Proudfit, pastor of the First U.F. church in charge. Interment will be made at Northwood Cemetary.
