Dale E. Sherrard

Dale E. Sherrard, 43, Cambridge R.D. 2, proprietor of Dale's Marine Mart, 
Chrysler Boat and Motor Sales here, died at 5 a.m. Sunday (Oct. 6, 1974) in 
his home following an apparent heart attack.
Born in Cambridge, June 21, 1931, he was a son of the late George and Glessner 
Farrar Sherrard.  Mr. Sherrard was a member of the Benevolent and Protective 
Order of Elks and was a veteran of both the Korean conflict and Vietnam War.
He leaves his wife, the former Donna J. Lake, whom he married Oct. 16, 1954; 
one daughter, Jo Deen of the home; one son, D. Edwin Sherrard, also of the 
home; one half-sister, Mrs. Barbara Perkins, Columbus; and several nieces and 
nephews.
Friends may call at Thorn Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.  Burial 
will be in Zion Cemetery, Westland Twp.
